Photorg: ExifSort

Current version: 0.2

What is it?

ExifSort is a simple tool to help you organize your digital photographs based on the date you shot them with your digital camera.

What is Photorg?

Photorg was my attempt at writing an photo catalog system, however I never finished it. It generated some usefull utilities though, ExifSort being one of them.

How does it work?

ExifSort tries to read a set of dates from your photograph, left there by your digital camera, and will organize your photo in an timebased way.

An example of of what it does; the EXIF tag DateTime: (0x0132) ASCII=2004:09:17 11:56:31 @ 176 will be read and transformed into a directory structure 2004/September/17.

Where to get it?

You can get a source tarball: project files.

CVS version: Sourceforge instructions.
